To Identify Arc’teryx is simple. Post 2017 items have the season, year, model number and garment title all on the “care tag”. The pre 2017 label has all of that bar the garment title, which can often be found through a google search of the product number.
WHAT IS THE ARCTERYX CA34438 SERIAL CODE?
CA 34438 are the codes given to Arc'teryx as required by Canada law for companies that produce textiles. These Arc'teryx serial codes unfortunately do not help to identify the Arc'teryx item.
HOW TO AUTHENTICATE ARC'TERYX USING THE CARE TAG
Arc'teryx did have a 'Scan to authenticate' system on their site which has now been removed. The product codes themselves can be useful reference points.

JACKETS
- Inside the left hand pocket (especially shells).
- Inside the body of the jacket, left hand side.
SHIRTS
- Inside the body of the shirt, lefthand side.
PANTS
- Left inside of the pant, at the left hip.
- Left buttock area.
- For bibs, left lower back.
- Sometimes front left interior, upper thigh.
